Introduction

The Traditional Chinese Medicine Cardiovascular Pharmacology Database (TCMCP) is an open-source resource for organizing traditional Chinese medicine herbs, active ingredients, cardiovascular-related diseases, corresponding gene targets, and target localization evidence. TCMCP connects herb-ingredient-target-disease relationships with a cardiomyocyte localization map, helping researchers inspect where target proteins are positioned across virtual cardiomyocyte compartments and trace related ingredients or herbs. With an intelligent document identification module and manual review workflow, the database can be continuously updated to support cardiovascular pharmacology studies.
